1. What is CentralCoastLinks.com?
CentralCoastLinks.com (CCL) is a local online business and community guide for San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara counties. The web site has a directory with over 18,000 local businesses and organizations that are designed to help both locals and tourists find information about the Central Coast. go_back

2. How does CentralCoastLinks.com make money?
While basic listings are free, businesses and organizations can purchase upgraded listings called IQwindows, that include additional information that help inform the public about services and products offered. CCL also offers banner ads that are visible atop directory pages. CCL donates 10% of all IQwindow gross sales to local charities on the Central Coast.

Basic Listings - Business Name, Address, City, Phone Number
IQwindows (Information Quick Window) - Business Name, Address, City, Phone, Fax, Email Address, Link to Map, Link to website, business hours, up to six primary products or services, payment methods, 800 character biography, a picture or graphic, advanced search features, and up to five category entries.

3. How much does an IQwindow cost?
IQwindows are $99/annually. IQwindows come with one picture or graphic, but additional pictures or graphics can be added for $10 each/year up to a total of 6. go_back

4. What if I am a non-profit organization?
Charitable Organizations that have § 501(c)(3) tax status are eligible for a FREE IQwindow. go_back

5. How do I sign up for an IQwindow?
There are several ways to sign up, but the easiest way is from the CCL website. Click 'Add my company' from the top navigation bar, then click 'purchase an IQwindow' and fill in the form. You can also sign up by phone, fax, or email. go_back

6. What if I don't have a digital photo or logo?
We can stop by your location and take a digital photo, or we can scan a photo or logo for you. go_back

7. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Online Check. go_back

8. Which local charities receive donations from CentralCoastLinks.com?
CCL chooses two or three charities each year to split the proceeds generated from IQwindow sales. These local charities are featured in the Community Spotlight section on CCL. go_back

9. If I buy an IQwindow do I get to write the donation off on my taxes?
YES. 10% of your purchase is donated in your name to the charity, and that portion can therefore be written off on your next tax return. go_back
